WIPPERTALER STEMPEL(S)PASS STAMP LOG
Ideal for all hikers, tourists and visitors to our beautiful region.
On 12 October 2019, the first four stamp stations were unveiled as part of the 4th Wipperliese Hiking Day. All the stamp stations are now in place and all you need to do to earn the Wippertal hiking badge is to get hiking and get stamping! Some stamps are linked with activities such as hikes, tours or admissions meaning they are only temporarily available. Please find out in advance.
We hope you enjoy discovering the wonderful, wild and romantic Wippertal valley. Use the opportunity to take one of our guided hikes through the Wippertal valley, which we offer multiple times a year.
The Wippertal hiking badge
You can now earn the Wippertal hiking badge on presentation of a complete stamp log (with all 20 stamps!) and by paying the €3 fee at the Mansfelder Bergwerksbahn e.V. and at the tourist information office in Eisleben during their normal opening hours.
Where can I find the stamps?
The stamp stations are usually in the blue stamp boxes at regional restaurants and tourist attractions in the Wippertal valley. Hotels, castles and museums in the Wippertal region are also taking part and all of them are worth a visit!
The Wippertal valley and the surrounding area from the reservoir to the mouth of the Saale are included on the route (see table for details).
Special stamps 7 and 10 as well as bonus stamps 12 and 13 are only available temporarily or for a limited period (please note dates, opening times and timetables).
Stamp 15 (red box) is also the first stamp for the Salzländer Kulturstempel stamp log and stamp 20 (green box) is stamp 219 for the Harzer Wandernadel stamp log.
The Wippertaler Stempel(s)pass stamp log has now been expanded to include four additional stamps, which are available on special occasions such as hikes or anniversaries or for a limited period of time.
What should I do when my stamp log is full?
All our participating locations have a special surprise in store, but you won’t know what it is until you redeem your log. Each stamp log can be redeemed once at one location. Besides that, for a small fee, you can also get the Wippertal hiking badge!
Have fun hiking, stamping and hunting down those bonus stamps!
Where can I get a stamp log?
The latest Wippertal stamp logs are available on the Wipperliese, at participating restaurants and institutions, from the Vatterode park train, the tourist information office in Eisleben and in the office of the Mansfelder Bergwerksbahn during their regular opening hours.
If you like, you can also have the stamp log posted to you for a fee of €2.
